Tomorrow. So excited.

This actually baffles me and makes me throw up a bit in my mouth. I get that you may want “realism” on this show “MTV’s The Real World” but this is absolutely ludicrous. The fact that this contract could even be made just makes me lose faith in the legal system. I also think I just lost all respect for MTV as a result. Boycott.

Furthermore, I must admit that I have never watched the show the Real World, but I can’t imagine ANY world where anyone would opening be okay with contracting AIDS via rape, which is what this contract suggests may happen.

EVEN FURTHER, the unhighlighted line states that “I will conduct myself with the care, good judgment ad discretion that an aware and reasonable person would ordinarily exercise in similar situations” —In these situations generally speaking people would call the authorities, and sue. Just saying.

Apparently if you want to be on MTV’s The Real World, you have to sign a contract that says you understand you may be raped.
